Krent Able is a cartoonist, illustrator and film-maker, based in London. His first comics appeared in The Stool Pigeon music magazine in 2009, and were later collected in his Krent Able's Big Book Of Mischief, published by Knockabout in 2012. His work has since appeared in The Guardian, The NME and Vice, and was included in the Comics Unmasked exhibition at The British Library in 2014, the biggest ever comics exhibition in the UK.
In 2016, he was the subject of an award-winning documentary about his work, Ink, Cocks & Rock 'N' Roll. In 2018 he co-created the award-winning short horror film Deep Clean, and curated and contributed to the technology-themed comics anthology I FEEL MACHINE for SelfMadeHero. A second collection of his comics and illustrations, The Second Coming Of Krent Able, was also published in 2018. In 2021, he curated and contributed a story to a second anthology for SelfMadeHero, I FEEL LOVE, and collaborated with Shaky Kane on the anthology KANE & ABLE for Image Comics.
Krent is also a storyboard artist, working with clients such as Danny Boyle (Bond 25), Disney, Virgin, Apple, Amazon and more..
